Monkey is my sister’s cat that actually found me first. One night, in June, I heard loud, foreign sounding meows coming from our bedroom. At first I thought it was one of my own cats, but then I realized that it was actually coming from the courtyard right outside our bedroom window. She was the first cat that I found in the wild, and I knew I had to take her in until we found the right home for her. Even though I was so sad that we couldn’t keep her, I am so grateful that my sister was able to :)
