“Chupy”

Another potential title I had in mind was “A Dash of Ginger” for this lil’ boy. Chupy is my older sister’s beloved vizsla.

I used reference photos and videos she had sent to get a better sense of what is unique to Chupy for his breed. I knew that I wanted to depict him sprinting because that is his favorite thing to do, but she didn’t have any good pictures with him specifically. They were either too blurry or the composition wouldn’t make a flattering silhouette for a pillow.

So, I found 2 stock photos that gave me a good shape, and then I sketched out what his shape would look like from what I knew about his body composition. A couple tweaks I made that are specific for Chupy are his larger chubby paws, the color/shade of his paws and coat, the length of his cropped tail, and his slender than average frame.
