Freya was my toughest project yet! What made her challenging was trusting that the colors I chose would work. Since she is completely black, it was very difficult to decide which direction I would want to go in regarding colors.

I chose to do blue, navy, and purple as the main 3 colors that I would be using. The deep navy served as the shadows, purple was the base color, and the highlights are a cool blue.

Another challenge were the curls and waves in her coat. It took a lot of time and layering. I ended up spending nearly 70 hours on this project because I had to redo a couple areas too.
